(Nasdaq: NRWS), the TV on the Internet company, announced today that it has partnered with tvtv services, a branch of Sony UK Ltd., specializing in next generation cross-platform electronic program guides (EPG), on a project to extend their cross-platform EPG beyond the presentation of linear broadcast TV schedules to on-demand & Web TV services across multiple hardware devices.
The project involves optimizing the use of a traditional broadcaster EPG in an internet environment.The EPG will allow users to be guided to webTV and on-demand video content delivered through Narrowstep's Internet TV platform.
