Finding the error code

Most players have the ability to tell you what your error code is but some do not. If you experience an error and a box pops up with three options - "Send Feedback", "More Info" and "Cancel" - then you can find your error code by clicking "Send Feedback".

 

This will open your mail client and automatically fill in the subject line. The error code is in the subject line. You will only get this box if your Windows Media Player experiences an error. There will be no box (or error code) if the error is caused by the channel player itself.

 

Some players do not have the ability to tell you your error code. If this is the case, CLICK HERE to read through the "Troubleshooting Guide". Then if your trouble persists, please send an e-mail to player@narrowstep.com. Include your system specs, the version number of the web browser you are using, the version number of your Windows Media Player, and a very detailed description of the problem you are encountering. The more information you provide, the better our support team will be able to help you.
