I click to pay and nothing happens |

When you are ready to make a purchase, a payment website (usually PayPal) should open in a new window. If this does not happen, you most likely have a pop-up blocker installed and active. A pop-up blocker is a small program or a function of another program that prevents anything from “popping up” (or opening) in a new window. This is most effective in protecting against onslaughts of advertisements bogging down your computer and cluttering the screen while you visit web sites. Unfortunately the payment web site needs to “pop open” in a new window as well. Therefore, you will need to do one of the following:
1. Disable your pop-up blocker. Note that you may have more than one – several, even – installed on your machine. Unless you do a custom installation, pop-up blockers are installed by default with programs such as Yahoo! Messenger. Your firewall may also have a one in place.
2. Many web browsers, including Internet Explorer, will allow you set which websites should allow pop-ups to be active. If this is the case for you, you can allow all pop-ups from http://www.paypal.com/. To do this in Internet Explorer, go to the ‘Tools’ menu and select ‘Pop-up Blocker’ and then ‘Pop-up Blocker Settings’. Enter http://www.paypal.com/ and click ‘Add’.
3. When you visit the site directly, you may see a yellow bar at the top of the page informing you that a pop-up has been blocked. Follow its instructions to allow the content through.
4. Most pop-up blockers can be temporarily overridden by holding down the ‘Ctrl’ key while clicking the “Buy now!” button.
5. In Internet Explorer, go to the ‘Tools’ menu and select ‘Pop-up Blocker’ and then ‘Turn Off Pop-up Blocker’.
