IP address mismatch error

The IP address that your Internet Service Provider (ISP) has assigned you is different from the IP address that your Windows Media Player detects.  This is a common occurrence with some ISPs that generate dynamic IP addresses, including AOL. 

There are three things you can do to rectify this situation: 

1. Ask your ISP for a fixed IP address

2. Write to the channel itself and request that they lower their subnet mask setting

3. Change internet service providers

FYI:  An ISP is the company that supplies internet access to your home or business.  Examples of some common ISPs are AOL, RoadRunner, Netscape and Time Warner Cable.
