| A: | The player you are visiting detects your IP address and then checks to see if it matches the IP address of the requestor as detected by Windows Media Server. If they do not match, you will get this error. This is a very common error among AOL users. Unfortunately all you can do is try using a different web browser (such as Internet Explorer or Firefox). If you like, you can also report the problem to the channel’s administrator and request that they adjust the subnet mask setting for that channel. The administrator’s contact information can usually be found somewhere on the player, perhaps in a button called “contact us”. |
