A:There are two settings that you should in Windows Media Player.  Both are default settings, but you may want to double-check they are correct if you are experiencing difficulty.

Open Windows Media player, then go to the Tools menu and select Options.  Select the 'player' tab.  Check the 'Download Codecs Automatically' box just under 'Automatic Updates'.  Click Apply or OK.

Next, check your proxy settings or set them to autodetect as follows:  In Windows Media Player, click the Tools menu and select Options.  Click the Network tab and verify the settings in the Streaming Proxy Settings area.  If you do not know what your proxy server settings should be, select a protocol, click Configure and then select Autodetect proxy settings or Use proxy settings of the Web browser (available for HTTP protocol only).  This will help if you are experiencing streaming errors.
